Facilitutor provides tools for private tutors and the parents and students they work with. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Account data (name, email, authentication credentials); student data entered by tutors (name, grade, academic notes, session records, homework and quiz results, scores); usage data needed to operate and secure the Service.
To provide scheduling, progress tracking, parent and student portals, homework/quiz delivery, and tutor dashboards. We do not sell personal information.
Facilitutor is used by tutors to manage records for students who may be under 18, including under 13. Tutors are responsible for obtaining parental consent before adding a student's information, consistent with applicable law (including COPPA in the U.S.). Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data by contacting their tutor or support@facilitutor.app.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who help operate the platform (e.g., hosting and database providers) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Data is stored with industry-standard providers. Access is restricted by account role. No system is 100% secure; report concerns to support@facilitutor.app.
Data is retained while an account is active and as needed for legal or operational purposes. Tutors may request deletion of student records they control; contact support@facilitutor.app to request deletion of account-level data.
Facilitutor is currently intended for use in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., please contact us before doing so — additional jurisdiction-specific terms may apply.
We may update this policy from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date above.
